Shipping & Delivery

Last updated:

This page explains how a Snug Print blanket travels from the moment you place your order to the moment it lands on your doorstep. Every throw is printed to order with your photos, names and dates, so delivery has two parts: the days we spend preparing your blanket, and the days the parcel spends in transit. Below you will find both, the countries we ship to, what shipping costs (nothing) and what to do if a parcel is slow or goes missing. If anything here is unclear, email support@snugprint.shop and we will reply within 24 hours on business days.

Delivery at a glance

  • Preparation: 1-3 business days after you order, because each blanket is printed for you.
  • Transit: 7-14 business days to the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
  • Cost: free shipping on every order, with no minimum spend and no code to enter.
  • Ships from: the USA.
  • Where we deliver: the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand only.
  • Changes: address or detail changes are possible within 24 hours of ordering.

1. Why your blanket needs preparation time

Nothing in our shop sits on a shelf waiting for you. When you order a family tree throw, a pet portrait or a twelve-photo collage, we only start once your order and your personal details arrive. We read the names, dates and photo links you typed in the order notes box at checkout, place them in the design you chose, print the throw in the fabric and size you picked, and pack it. That work takes 1-3 business days.

Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in the United States. An order placed on a Saturday evening, for example, starts its preparation time on Monday. An order placed on a Tuesday morning usually finishes preparation by Friday at the latest.

Preparation can only start once we have everything we need. If a photo link in your order notes is set to private, or a name is missing, we email you and the clock waits for your answer. To keep things moving, please check before you pay that your shared album or cloud link opens for anyone with the link, and that every name, date and caption is spelled exactly as you want it printed. There is no proof or mockup step before production, so what you write is what we print.

2. Shipping cost and delivery times by country

Shipping is free on every order to every country we serve. There is no minimum order value, no coupon to remember and no surcharge for the larger 60 x 80 in throws or for sherpa, which is heavier than fleece. The amount you see in your cart is the amount you pay for the blanket and its delivery.

These are estimates, not promised dates. Carriers slow down around Christmas, during severe weather and when customs offices are busy, and remote addresses can take longer than city addresses. We never promise that a blanket will arrive on a specific day, so please order with time to spare when a date matters.

3. Ordering for a birthday, holiday or service

Many blankets are gifts with a date attached. A sensible rule is to count back at least 17 business days from the day you need the blanket, then add a little extra in December or before Mother’s Day. A few examples of how that plays out:

  • A Christmas family tree throw for grandparents. If you order in early December, preparation and transit together can run into the last days before Christmas. Ordering in November gives you a calmer margin.
  • An anniversary throw sent to Auckland. New Zealand uses the same 7-14 business day transit estimate, but public holidays at both ends can add a day or two. Order a few weeks before the anniversary.
  • A memorial blanket for a funeral. We understand these orders are personal and often urgent. We cannot offer express shipping or a guaranteed arrival day, so if the service is very soon, email us before ordering and we will tell you honestly what the normal timeline looks like.
  • A baby name throw for a shower. Showers are usually planned weeks ahead, which suits our timeline well. Send the name and any birth details in the order notes and double-check the spelling.

If you are unsure whether there is enough time, ask us first at support@snugprint.shop. A quick question is always better than a disappointed gift-giver.

4. Where we deliver

We sell to and deliver within four countries: the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Every order ships from the USA. If you enter an address outside these four countries, checkout will not offer a shipping option and the order cannot be completed.

You can send a blanket as a gift to anyone in those four countries. A customer in Chicago can order a family collage and have it delivered straight to a grandmother in Toronto; a customer in Sydney can send a couple blanket to a friend in Wellington. Just enter the recipient’s address as the shipping address. If you would like the order notes to stay private, keep gift messages short and personal details to what is needed for printing.

Please make sure the address is complete, including apartment, unit or suite numbers and the correct ZIP or postal code. Delivery to some address types, such as P.O. boxes or military addresses, depends on the carrier and route. If you need to use one of these, email us before ordering so we can check.

5. How to follow your order

As soon as you place an order you receive an order confirmation email with your order number. Keep it: it is the quickest way for us to find your order. You can check the current status of your order on our Order Tracking page using the order number and the email address you used at checkout, and you can see your order history in My Account if you created an account.

When your blanket leaves us, the order status changes to show it has shipped. If carrier tracking details are available for your parcel, we share them with you; if you would like an update at any point, simply reply to your confirmation email or write to us with your order number and we will tell you what we know.

6. Checking and changing your address

The shipping address is the most common reason a parcel goes astray. Before you pay, read the address back once: the recipient’s full name, the street number, the unit number, the city, the state, province or region, and the ZIP or postal code.

If you notice a mistake, email us within 24 hours of placing your order and we will update it. The same 24-hour window applies to names, dates and photos in your order notes, as described in Cancel or Change an Order. After 24 hours your blanket is usually being printed, and once a parcel has left us we may not be able to change where it goes. If that happens, contact us anyway; we will look at what can still be done with you.

If a parcel is returned to us because the address was incomplete or incorrect, we will contact you to confirm the right address and arrange to send it again.

7. Orders with more than one blanket

If you order several blankets, for example matching family throws for three households, they are prepared together where possible. Because each one is printed individually, they may leave us on different days or arrive in separate parcels. Separate parcels never cost you anything extra; shipping stays free for every item. If you need all blankets to arrive together, mention it in the order notes and we will do our best to send them at the same time, without changing the delivery estimates above.

8. When a parcel is late, missing or marked delivered

Most parcels arrive within the estimate. Occasionally one does not, and we would rather hear from you than have you worry. Here is what to do:

  1. Check the dates. Count 1-3 business days for preparation plus 7-14 business days for transit from the day you ordered. Weekends and public holidays do not count.
  2. If the estimate has passed, email support@snugprint.shop with your order number. We will look into where the parcel is and tell you the next steps.
  3. If the parcel shows as delivered but you cannot find it, check with neighbours, building reception, a side door or parcel locker, and your local post office. Then contact us with your order number and we will help you work out what happened.

Every case is a little different, so we handle late and missing parcels one by one rather than with a fixed timetable. Whatever the cause, contact us and we will help you reach a fair outcome. If a refund turns out to be the right answer, it follows our Refund Policy.

9. Blankets that arrive damaged or not as ordered

Blankets travel well, but parcels are sometimes crushed, torn or wet on arrival, and occasionally a printed detail may not match what you wrote in your order notes. If that happens, keep the packaging and take a few clear photos: the outer parcel, the shipping label and the blanket itself, including the part that is wrong. Email them to us with your order number. We will review it with you and put it right; the options are explained in our Returns & Exchanges Policy.

Please note that we print exactly the names, dates and photos you send. If a name was misspelled in the order notes or a photo was blurry when it was sent, the printed blanket will reflect that. You still have our 60-day return window for any reason, with a free return label, so you are never stuck with a blanket you cannot use.

10. Customs, duties and taxes

All prices are in US dollars. Our checkout does not add sales tax. Orders delivered to Canada, Australia and New Zealand cross a border, and whether any import duties, taxes or fees apply depends on the destination country’s rules and the value of the parcel. Any such charges are set by the destination country, not by us. If you are unsure what might apply to a gift you are sending abroad, contact us before ordering and we will share what we can.

11. Packaging and arrival

Each blanket is folded and packed in a soft shipping bag or box suited to its size. A 30 x 40 in fleece throw makes a small, light parcel; a 60 x 80 in sherpa throw is noticeably bulkier, so it may need to be collected from a post office if it does not fit your mailbox. When your blanket arrives, unfold it and give it a gentle shake. Any light creases from folding usually relax within a day or after the first wash on a gentle cold cycle with a low tumble dry.

12. Questions about delivery

We are a small online shop and we read every message. Email support@snugprint.shop, visit the Help Center or submit a ticket, and include your order number so we can find your blanket quickly. We reply within 24 hours on business days. For answers to common questions about photos, sizes and fabrics, see our FAQs.
